Plague Alchemist You are plunged into a mundane world that is on the brink of being reshaped. As an outcast doctor, you will be forced to put down your bandages and pick up weapons. Hunting for the most powerful ingredients will be pointless if they are used incorrectly. Blow something up? Of course. Make trees come alive? Quite possibly. Shape time and reality by smashing a bottle? ... A lion’s share of time and dedication has been poured into making the collection of mixtures, potions, and salves feel worth your time and effort to find, craft, and use. The ultimate goal of this game is achieved when you experience a sense of accomplishment every time you discover a new recipe. Dungeons At the heart of this mystery lies something very close to you. The keys to all of this are found in dungeons. The dungeon experience is designed to be difficult for the unprepared. Claw your way through resource-rich and danger-filled caverns, forests, and mind-bending corrupted worlds, only to face a powerful foe at the end. Once entered, there are only four ways out: pass out from exhaustion, leaving everything behind; run home and forfeit all you have accomplished and acquired; die in battle; or succeed and claim the spoils. Or is there another way? Time This is a living world, and as such, time is the master. Be aware of the time of day and the season of the year. You will feel sleepy, cold, hot, and everything in between. Don't embark on adventures in the middle of the night—you need your rest, after all. Preparation Preparation for dungeons is key. Brew abundant stacks of potions, stockpile arrows, acquire the best armor, and have an absolute feast to boost your odds before entering the perils of these dungeons. The ill-prepared are sure to suffer defeat, but the methodical and well-prepared are in for one hell of a ride, with game-changing spoils. A lot of questions but so few answers.
