《零号钢神》的故事发生在不久的未来，一个名为SovKhan的家伙创造了半人半机械的生化巨人，这些生化巨人有着人类一般的敏捷度，以及比坦克还强的攻击力与防御力，SovKhan藉由它们的力量统治了S-19这座城市，并施以恐怖的高压政策。 所有S-19人民的生活都苦不堪言，而一部分有勇气的人们组成了反抗军，想要推翻SovKhan的独裁。在历经无数的牺牲之后终于偷到一台生化巨人，反抗军将之命名为“零号钢神”，而你的使命正是驾驭这台“零号钢神”，打倒所有敌人，让S-19的人民们能够得到睽违已久的和平。
